We announced what was new in a post about the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.21.16 update: the polling feature! In reality, the tool has already been made available to a select set of incredibly lucky beta testers, who may now create and distribute polls inside their groups to their loved ones. Finally, good news for iOS users today: WhatsApp is offering the same feature to a select group of beta testers who download the most recent beta through TestFlight!

You should be able to see an access point within the chat actions if the feature is available for your WhatsApp account. All group members who are using the most recent version of the app, which is available on the Play Store and the App Store, can view polls that have titles and up to 12 options. Participants in a group can cast their votes by selecting different options once a poll has been submitted to the group, if they so choose. Finally, by selecting “see votes,” it is also possible to see who cast a ballot. In our perspective, this is just the initial iteration of the functionality, and future updates may make it better.
If the function is not yet available for your WhatsApp account, it signifies that it will be in a subsequent update. The option to construct a poll has currently been made available to a select group of beta testers, and further activations will take place over the next few weeks. Every time there is new information to share with you, there will be an additional article.
