The dating app released a new feature “Relationship Type” today.  The feature offers options in “monogamous”, “non-monogamous”, and “figuring out my relationship type”. It is to help users indicate what they are looking for specifically.

The feature is available globally for all users. It can be displayed in the users’ profiles at your will. If the relationship is opted to be shown by the user, it will be available in the “virtues” section of their profile.

There is a “Backstory” open-text option, so users can add more context about their relationship type. “Dating Intentions” launched a couple of months ago to encourage users to select a dating goal like “long-term,” “short-term,” “life partner” or “figuring out my dating goals.”

The platform has recently been focused on how to make quality connections for its users. In an effort towards this, users are asked to be clearer with what they want in a partner. The company hopes that all these new features will help users find a satisfactory conclusion in their searches in their dating life. Dating in 2022 comes with a lot of open-ended conclusions and this is to help close some of those questions.
