Microsoft has added dark mode features to its Office app for Android.
The version for Office app for phone has been available on iOS and Android for more than a year, iOS version was having the dark mode already but now it has been finally added to Android.
According Sourab Nagpal, a product manager at Microsoft said users has been requesting for the dark mode on Android for longtime.
He continue by saying “Many people prefer using Dark Mode as they find it provides a more comfortable visual experience for reading and working on mobile devices.”
The latest update for Office app for Android on playstore will now automatically enable dark mode.
Dark mode features can be enable from the home tab in the Office app.
Microsoft said the introducing of dark mode for Office on Android will be out in the coming weeks, so users wont see the updates instantly.
Microsoft’s Office app for Android combines Word, Excel, and PowerPoint into a single app.
