Snapchat is down for many users around the world, following massive disruptions with Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. Users report that they are unable to access the app, and the corporation has confirmed the issue and stated that it is investigating.
This problem began around 4 a.m. PT, according to the Down Detector, and it has still not been resolved nearly three hours later.
Many users have reported that they are unable to utilize the app. On Twitter, Snapchat Support acknowledged the downtime. “We’re aware that some Snapchatters are experiencing troubles with the app right now – hang tight, we’re looking into it!” the firm wrote on Twitter.
Unfortunately, if you’ve been affected by today’s outage, there’s not much you can do. Before trying to use Snapchat again, we recommend waiting a few hours. Don’t forget to keep an eye on the Snapchat Support account on Twitter to see if the problem has been resolved.
