The most popular app Internet Explorer will be out of service in 2022 said Microsoft, after 25years been on the Microsoft system.

The old web browser has been abandoned by majority of users, but Microsoft said they will bury the almighty Internet Explorer on June 15th, 2022, so that users can use the new Microsoft Edge browser with new features that was introduce in 2015.

“We are announcing that the future of Internet Explorer on Windows 10 is in Microsoft Edge,” says Sean Lyndersay, a Microsoft Edge program manager.

“The Internet Explorer 11 desktop application will be retired and go out of support on June 15, 2022, for certain versions of Windows 10.”

The end of the most use browser Internet Explorer was expected to end early. Microsoft ended support for Internet Explorer 11 for the Microsoft Teams web app last year.

Microsoft wanted to stop users from using the aging browser for more than 5 years after introducing Microsoft Edge in 2015 but users has been using Internet explorer always.
