Updating Apple Devices

Apple said the weakness, discovered by security researchers at Google’s Project Zero, may have been “actively used” by hackers. The fault is found in WebKit, the browser engine that powers the Safari browser across all Apple devices.

It’s not known who is actively using the weakness in the application, or who might have fallen victim. Apple Company did not say if the attack was targeted against a small users or if it was a wider attack. This is the third time that Apple company has released security patch update for this year to fix weakness under active attack. Earlier this month the company released patches for similar issues in their WebKit.

The attack is known as Zero Day. Is the attacks that hackers proved before the weakness were made public for Apple users to know. Before these attacks are demonstrated the developer is aware of or revised version and pose a serious threat to all devices.
