Hackers warning cyber-security companies about the sudden rise of so-called ‘extortionware’ where hackers force victims into paying a ransom.

Gurus in the field of cyber-security says the new trend towards ransoming sensitive private information could affect companies not just operationally but through reputation damage.

It comes as hackers rejoiced after discovering an IT Manager’s secret porn collection.

The targeted US firm has not publicly recognized hat it was hacked. In its darknet post about the hack last month, the hackers mention the IT Manager whose computer allegedly contained the porn files.

The hackers also posted a screen recording of the computer’s file library which contained more than a dozen folders categorized under the names of porn stars and porn websites such as pornhub, porntube etc.

The legendary hacker group wrote: “Thanks God for [named IT Manager].

While he was [masturbating in his office] we downloaded several hundred gigabytes of private and sensitive information about his company’s customers.

God bless the IT Manager’s hairy palms, Amen!”

The darknet post has been removed in the last week , which gurus in cyber security says usually implies that the extortion attempt worked and the legendary hackers have been paid to restore data, and not publish any more details for public consumption.

The targeted company did not respond to requests for comment by the media.

The same legendary hackers group is also currently trying to forced another US utility company into paying a ransom, by posting an workers username and password for their members porn website they have been watching during working hours.
