WhatsApp is finally allowing more individuals to establish and join larger groups today, after unveiling a feature that allows users to share documents up to 2GB in size on latest versions of WhatsApp beta for Android, iOS, and Desktop.
Last month, we posted news about the ability to add up to 512 people to groups on WhatsApp beta for Android, iOS, and Desktop. Unfortunately, the feature has only been released to a limited number of beta testers but something is changing today: WhatsApp is finally rolling out the feature to all users on the latest versions of the app!

It is now possible to create groups with 512 participants, as seen in these screenshots, and you can easily add them later by opening group info. It is extremely simple to check if the functionality is already available for your WhatsApp account: simply try to form a group and see how many people can be joined to it.
People who install the most recent stable releases of WhatsApp for Android, iOS, and Desktop may now create and join larger groups, which is not confined to the beta version of the app.
This feature is now accessible to almost all users, and it will be available to everyone within 24 hours, so make sure to update your WhatsApp app from the Play Store, App Store, or TestFlight.
