Is a malicious cyber tactic; cyber adversaries use to send fake pop-up, alerting cyber users of their security software being out of date or a detection of malicious content on their device; in order to fool victims to either visit a malicious website or into buying worthless product.
To counter scareware; avoid clicking and tapping on online pop-up.
