Instagram announced that it’s introducing a new feature to let you know whether your post will be recommended to non-followers on the app. It is expanding the Account Status hub to make it easier for users with professional accounts to know whether their posts will be recommended to others on the app or if it violates the company’s Recommendations Guidelines.
Instagram launched Account Status last year. it is a place where you can find out if your account is at risk. This was the company’s proactive way to let users be aware of their content to avoid it being blocked or suspended. The feature let users see if their posts have been removed and give them a chance to appeal via the app.

With the latest update, you can see a sample of the content that meets requirements or the parts of your profile that have been flagged for going against Instagram’s Recommendation Guidelines. From there, you can decide to edit it or you can correct it how you see fit.
You can navigate the Account Status by going through your profile settings, Account, and then Account Status.
Instagram wants to help users understand issues with their accounts and how to rectify them, seek help, or appeal in situations required to do so. The platform intends to improve its Account Status hub to cover Search and Suggested Accounts. Instagram wants to add more features to the Account Status to help guide users on how to get their content to their audience.
