The tech giant announced earlier this year to release an android version for large screens; Android 12L for foldables and large screens to help with user interfaces and multitasking. With this promise, comes the gift that is Google Chrome for tablets.

The tablet version of Chrome comes with new features that make full use of its hardware. It is also very suited to multitasking on big screens.

This is a step Google is taking to actively make 20 of its apps better suited for big screens. This comes as no surprise as the company wants to venture into the big screen hardware market that Samsung has the biggest share of. Samsung is gradually increasing it’s in this market with the increased use of its foldables and tablets. Google is coming up with a competitor in its announced Pixel Tablets for 2023.
