In the just ended WWDC2021 event Apple says in iOS 15, users will be able to track their lost iPhone in Find My even if it’s powered off or factory reset.
In iOS 15 Apple’s says Find My will get updates which will allow iPhone users to locate their missing phone even if the thief has powered it off or reset it.
iOS 15 will prompt users when their iPhone is running low on power after updating to iOS 15.
“Locate your devices using the Find My network even after they have been turned off. This can help you locate a missing device that was low on battery power or that may have been turned off by a thief,”
Apple says in the WWDC2021 which is Apple’s annual event hosted every year.
