WhatsApp has been adding new features and improving existing ones regularly this year. From playing voice messages faster to sticker suggestions, these are the best new WhatsApp features ;
1.EDIT PHOTOS ON YOUR COMPUTER
Simply click the paperclip icon, then choose Photos & Videos (the purple icon) and choose the image or video you want to share. As with the phone app, you can send multiple images and videos at the same time.
If you do a lot of computer work, you’re probably already using the WhatsApp desktop app. However, you couldn’t edit the photo until this update was made. I had to use the media editor in the phone version of the app. But now that the same editor is available in the web / desktop version, you can make all the usual adjustments, such as rotating, cropping, adding text and stickers.
2.Faster voice message playback
If you have friends who send long voice messages on a regular basis, it would be nice to be able to play them faster so that you can get the information faster. This can be done in mobile and desktop apps, with a choice of 1.5x or 2x speed. When you start playing the message, the person’s icon changes by a factor of 1. Tap it to switch between different speeds.
3.Link previews
Sending links is common in WhatsApp chats, and this update means you can preview what the links contain. Titles and images provide context and help you know that you’re redirecting before clicking. Similarly, submitting a link allows recipients to see what they see and read before clicking the submit button.
