Microsoft will not release Windows 10X this year, and the operating system version originally shared “likely not to happen”
Microsoft announced in 2019, Windows 10X was meant to be the best in Windows design that scrap the legacy components in favor of new technologies. The enthusiastic of the project was delayed and now it may never happen.

The Duo shipped in 2020 with Android as planned but the Neo was never released till date.
Windows Central confirmed that Microsoft had in fact stopped Windows 10X internal self host testing in February. All attention has moved to Microsoft’s “Sun Valley” Windows 10 UI refresh due later this year.
Sun Valley reportedly incorporates many of the improvement that were promised to be in Windows 10X. Development of the new OS has stop and there is no assurance of it or when it will bounce back.
Apple, however, has had more luck enhancing its desktop operating system for modern hardware. The released of macOS Big Sur with design prototype that closely stimulate iOS and iPadOS in an effort to showcase its change over to Apple Silicon.
