WhatsApp has been observed offering the ability for users to leave groups silently – without informing other members. The new change by the instant messaging app would make it easier for people to leave unpleasant and bothersome groups that they were previously hesitant to leave because other members would be aware of their departure. This is especially true in family gatherings when you don’t want your relatives to know about your departure due to random “Good Morning” greetings or communications that require basic fact-checking.
WABetainfo first reported the news, and the portal claims that WhatsApp Premium is being tested for Android, Desktop, and iOS. According to the platform, the capability is only available to commercial accounts and is optional. The subscription options have not yet been revealed, however it is assumed that subscribing to the service will grant WhatsApp Business profiles access to additional capabilities.
According to WABetainfo, one of the features that WhatsApp Premium may provide customers is the option to link and name up to ten devices. When using multi-device, users can normally link up to four devices. Furthermore, WhatsApp may allow businesses to construct a one-of-a-kind personalized business link. It should be remembered that firms can already use short connections to reach clients. A custom link is meant to provide the same function as a short link, but it may be easier to remember and may also give branding.
Recently, it was revealed that WhatsApp was testing chat filters for all users, which are presently only available on WhatsApp Business and provide an easy method to identify certain discussions. WhatsApp has also begun detecting “legal” identities of users who have activated the app’s UPI-based payments feature. According to a rumor, WhatsApp is also working on an update to user profiles that would allow users to select a cover image on their WhatsApp Business profiles.
