Google has introduce a new feature for its Google Phone app that announces the caller when the phone rings.
Users can set if they want the app to announce the caller details every time the phone rings, it can also be set to whether to announce or not if the user is using a headset or never and only when you’re wearing a headset.
Apple has that feature too in its iOS, and it seems like Google’s version for the Phone app works similarly to Apple’s implementation.
Steps to enable the features
To enable the new feature you can open Google Phone > Settings > Caller ID announcement

The caller ID announcement has been been disabled which is the default settings on the app, but user can choose between “Always,” “Only when using a headset,” or “Never.”
The app also has more features like blocking options, which helps user to manage unwanted incoming calls with much more.
