According to a fresh report, the iPhone 13 will be available in a dusky rose gold color. MajinBu posted it on Twitter, and it has had a mixed response to say the least.
It’s worth mentioning that the aforementioned tweeter has had some success, like allegedly revealing the iPhone 12 silicone case before it went on sale.
Not to mention that DuanRui has retweeted this tweet, albeit please note that the retweet includes the phrase iPhone 13 Pro followed by a question mark.
While many critics claim that this image is a hoax, I believe there is something amiss here. Because the camera unit appears wider in this shot, it does not appear to be an iPhone 12 Pro, assuming this is not a perspective trick.
In which case, it’s possible that this is an iPhone 13 Pro or iPhone 13 Pro Max.
The color appears to be a lot less plausible. I’m not implying that the image has been manipulated, but in the correct lighting, a dark material, such as a graphite iPhone, can appear to shine in a color that only a camera can detect.
So, what colors can we expect from Apple this year in terms of iPhones?
In recent years, Apple has really stepped up its color game. When the iPhone 3GS was released, it looked remarkably identical to the iPhone 3G and was available in two colors: white and black. At the time, I pushed Apple to explore a new color so that individuals who had spent a lot of money on the iPhone could proudly display their purchase. I suggested midnight blue as a color option.
Color came to the iPhone a few years later, with the iPhone 5s, which came in a gold tone, and the iPhone 5c, which appeared in blue, green, white, yellow, and pink at the same time.
What happened after that was anyone’s guess, but over the past few years, each year has brought with it a new color or colors.
So, whether the upcoming iPhones are called iPhone 13 or iPhone 12s, we can be confident that they will have new possibilities, and the only question is what will change.
In fact, the probability is everything. When the iPhone 11 replaced the iPhone XR, all of the colors were new or various variations of the same hue that had previously been available. Even the PRODUCT(RED) iPhone 11 differs from the XR in color.
As a result, I believe there will be five iPhone 13 colors and three iPhone 13 Pro colors. The Pro models will have a matte surface, while the others will have a glossy finish.
Along with the black and white options in iPhone 13, and graphite, gold, and silver in iPhone 13 Pro, there will be a brand-new hue that will serve as a kind of hero product.
From the midnight green of the iPhone 11 Pro to the Pacific Blue of the current generation, Apple likes to surprise us with new colors.
Apple has used rose gold in the past.
I’m just not persuaded it’ll be the standout hue this season.
