1. Always update vehicle system software (firmware), when prompted.
  2. Secure vehicle’s Wi-Fi by hiding its signal (SSID) from broadcasting.
  3. Periodically scan vehicle for hidden or malicious gps tracking devices.
  4. Use MAC address filtration, to strictly allow only your mobile devices to connect to the vehicle’s wifi hotspot.
  5. Always turn off your Bluetooth connectivity, when not using it; Because a vehicle can be hacked via its Bluetooth.
