WhatsApp has received a new update via the Google Play Beta Program, bringing the current version to 2.22.13.14.

Following the release of the option to filter unread chats on WhatsApp Desktop beta, the firm is now bringing the capability to WhatsApp beta for Android. On WhatsApp beta for Android, the functionality looks a little different, but let’s look at the details:
The unread chat filter, as shown in these screenshots, is only available when searching for chats and messages, and it allows users to get a list of all chats with unread messages. Instead, on WhatsApp Desktop beta, the unread chat filter is located next to the search bar: while the filter implemented on WhatsApp beta for Android is not identical to the one seen on WhatsApp Desktop beta (due to the presence of a search bar that is always visible in the chats list), it is the same feature available on WhatsApp Business for Android.
This feature is now only available to beta users who have installed the most recent beta update of the app, but it will be made available to more people in the near future.
