TikTok has introduce a tool in their app which will allow users to apply for job application.
The job application tool which has been integrated on the TikTok app will allow its users to directly apply with video resumes to companies like Target, Shopify and Chipotle.
The application tool introduce on TikTok app is called TikTok Resumes which uses content that has organically popped up on TikTok platform, like #CareerTok, and the company’s deliberate initiatives to influence college students and younger users.
According to TikTok more than 30 companies signed up to accept resumes for the job application tool piloting, which will end on July 31.
TikTok users will have to create a video resume, post it to TikTok, and then send that video to recruiters available through the app.
The company said with the ongoing video for the pilot program they recommends applicants should not add their personal contact information like their email address in the publicly-shared video.
Some of the jobs which is available now include generating content for TikTok, which means more brands adopting the platform with already-savvy content developers.
On the TikTok resumes platform Alo Yoga company is hiring a social media manager who’s job is to develop a TikTok strategy for the brand and partner with influencers.
Detroit Pistons company is also looking for hosts and video producers who will span multiple platforms.
Allrecipes has also posted on TikTok resumes that they are hiring a video producer or an on-camera host listing.
Other companies like Target, Chipotle, Sweetgreen, and Great Clips are also using TikTok Resumes platform to find employees to work in stores and warehouses, with some full-time and corporate roles added in.
Likewise Shopify is also looking to hire a senior data engineer through the pilot.
WWE is also hiring WWE superstar through TikTok Resumes platform.
According to TikTok the pilot is temporary for the TikTok Resumes platform.
The piloting for TikTok Resumes platform is currently available in the United State until 31st July.
