According to OpenAI, the company that developed chatbots, customers would receive “priority access” to new features for $20 (£16) per month in addition to access to the platform even during busy periods when it can be difficult to connect on.

Although it intends to make the trial more accessible, it will initially only be made available to people on a waiting list.

According to the company, the free version will still be accessible.

OpenAI expressed its hope that the subscription will support open access in a blog post. The company presently pays a nominal fee each time the chatbot is used.

ChatGPT uses data from the internet to give answers that seem convincingly human, however it is not connected live; instead, it uses data from the internet from 2021.

Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, tweeted a few days after it went live that it had already been used more than a million times, but the company has not provided any further information since.

Because of its ability to imitate a variety of writing styles, including those of a journalist, doctor, rock star, and student essay writer, the chatbot has captivated people’s attention.

The singer Nick Cave called them “a disgusting caricature” for trying to write songs in his style.

People use ChatGPT for amusement, but they also ask it to write material for websites and advertisements, research recipes, and write or check program code.

There are worries that students are already using it to complete their schoolwork, and some cyber security experts have issued a warning that it may be used to create malware.

‘Future of search engines’

OpenAI unveiled a tool on Tuesday that it says can distinguish whether text was created by a human or an AI.

Some experts think that intelligent chatbots—where AI searches the internet for a single relevant result to a search query rather than serving up pages of links—are the future of search engines.

However, ChatGPT does not currently attribute information or make any comments regarding its correctness, and there are several instances of it misrepresenting the truth.

In the same way as in 2021, it is just limited to internet content. The firm has stated that the next generation is currently being created, and the version that has been released is version three.

Many other businesses are creating such, and ChatGPT is well-known as a language learning paradigm. One of the developers who worked on Google’s, Blake Lemoine, was certain that Lamda, as it is known, was sentient.

Google has always refuted the assertion that Mr. Lemoine was fired. Lamda has not been made available to the public.
